im back!! not that anyone actually realises.. i bet even if i died, you guys out there wouldnt even know, right, you bastards.. haha.. i guess im not that fortunate to have at least a few people who cares for me..
but who cares about that!! manado indonesia!! great place i tell you.. the trip was totally splendid.. the only thing that made it a little bad was that i fell sick on the 3rd day, and i meant really sick.. gastric flu or something like that.. i missed 2 dives!! i know, only 2 dives, but come on!! i could have done all the dives AND enjoyed myself, instead of making everyone there worried..
the people in manado are really nice.. they're really polite, friendly, cheerful, even when they only earn <$150 a month.. it was a changing experience for me.. i learnt how to really treasure the things i have and not take things for granted.. really, this trip to manado was good exposure..
i stayed at the minahasa prima dive resort, which was kinda far from the airport, about an hour and a half away.. i, uncle jimmy and uncle edwin stayed in one hut, and since 3 of us shared one hut, they gave us a big one, complete with tv set, sofas and a dining area.. how cool is that!!
we saw many many cool marine animals.. but there is one thing i regret not seeing, and thats the pgymy seahorse!! i cant believe i actually missed seeing it!! argh!! but to compensate, we saw huge turtles and stuff!! the turtle were humongous, they were bigger than i am!! can you imagine that?!?! their head was like, my head size!! thats huge!! we saw dolphins!! oh my goodness, so cool!! there was a whole school of dolphins, and they were swimming with our boat!! awesome!!
we saw a blue ring octopus (which is immensely dangerous, bite bite and you're a goner), leaf fishes, different species of scorpion fishes, frog fishes, nudibranches, a huge cuttlefish (size of my torso), moray and garden eels, and many many other things.. so awesome please!!
oh, there was this once, under this huge flat piece of coral, our dive leader saw a shark resting inside, and he mentioned for me to go see.. i peeped under the coral, and didnt see anything.. not knowing what i was supposed to see, i stuck my whole head under the coral, and came face to face to a black tip reef shark.. hehe.. whoops, lucky my head didnt get bitten off..
another time, this clown fish thought i was its anemone, and kept swimming around me.. which was kinda weird, since none of me looked anything like a anemone, with the vague exception of my hair underwater.. haha..
im going off now, i need my beauty sleep..
