i havent updated this blog for a long time already... too busy...
lets see...
apart from twin getting majorly sick, not alot of things were particularly eventful... yup...
was 'studying' for the past few days...
one thing was that there was a freaking scary lightning storm on monday... lightning storm as in only big, scary lightning, hardly any rain...
the next day, i asked feli, i said, 'did you sing karaoke last night??' (it tends to rain when she sings, really... weird coincidence huh) and she replied sarcarsticly, '
yes mark' and rolled her eyes... then we both burst out laughing...
another thing is that i went biking to east coast on fri...
the usual gang and i met up at compass point first... then we made our way to defu area, where we proceeded to follow the 25 route to east coast...
to my surprise, it took me only 15 - 20 min to reach the place!! quite fast if you ask me...
some of us went very fast, me included... when we reached the marine parade shopping mall, we decided to wait for the rest who were taking their time... i think we waited for around 15 min, before we decided to call them in case they were lost or something had gone wrong...
turned out that one of them had leg cramps... haiya... i did remember telling him to warm up at least 15 secs with each stretch, but he insisted that 2 secs was sufficient, so what could i do??
ya, so, they told us to go ahead to east coast first, and that they'll meet us at the hawker centre...
we reached the shopping centre, and since we had nothing to do, we decided to try and learn the wheelie... being xc racers, we didnt need to know how to do it, but we really had nothing to do...
i think i did it ok, though not consistent... could be better after some practice time at home...
after a while, the rest of them showed up, and then we proceeded to go to changi village...
to go from east coast to changi village meant we had to ride alongside the airport runway... it was a long stretch of road, which meant we could ride as fast as we wanted... initially i managed to keep pace with the fast group, but dropped after about 10 mins later... even though i dropped back, i still managed to go at around 30km/h in speed... they must have been going 35-40... whew....
and then there was this one guy, he came out from behind me and rode past me!! and real fast too!! wow, wish i could ride like him...
i saw a few landings and take-offs, which was kinda cool at close range... after about 15 min of cycling, reached changi village... and since we were there at around 12 midnight, the gays were all coming out...
ewww... real gross man... you have to see to believe... gosh...
and since the slow group hadnt come just about yet, we decided to eat our supper first... i ate quite alot, and remember hearing them say they wouldnt wish to ride behind me later in case i farted... haha...
we ate, the rest of the group came, and then rested for awhile... when we were about to leave, we took a group photo, and began to head back home...
we went by old tampines road, and halfway through, the heavens opened up...
it was so cold... it was 2 am in the morning, in heavy rain, with wind so strong it could blow us off our bikes... imagine the coldness...
we carried on riding, and i finally reached homw around 3 in the morning... my father was still awake!! lucky no scolding...
went to sleep after bathing, i remember nothing after that...
poohed all the way at 8:02 PM
